MUSEUM MENU – SEPTEMBER 26
It’s A La Carte!  Choose between the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the American Museum of Natural History.  The bus will leave Ungerman Field at 9:00am and drop each group off at the museum of their choice. Museum admission and lunch will be on your own.  Return back to Sparta approximately 5:00pm.

“SCARECROW SATURDAY”
Have you ever wanted to make your very own Scarecrow? 
Well, today is the day!!! 
A fun family project where you can design, create & build your very own Scarecrow.  Upon completion, you are invited to display your unique creative design during the Recreation Advisory Committee’s “Munchkin March Costume Parade” on October 25th.  Once the parade is over, take it home so you can show it off to all the Trick or Treaters!!

 “TRUNK OR TREAT” &“MUNCHKIN MARCH” HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE
Sunday: October 25th  
Sponsored by: Recreation Committee
“Trunk or Treat” begins at 5:30PM & will be held at the Memorial Ungerman Complex Parking Lot.   (Bring a flashlight)
  • A “judged” costume parade for kids of all ages begins at 6:00PM sharp and will be held on the Memorial Football field. Prizes for costumes will be awarded as well as treats for everyone.
  • Admission:  Canned Goods donated to the Sussex County Food Pantry


AMERICAN GIRL DOLL TEA              November 7th                         Ages: 5-11yrs
Bring your American Girl (or look alike doll) for a special tea party.  This fun program will include a doll & girl hairstyle, tea & cupcakes and a craft.

SANTA ARRIVES AT STATION PARK
Sunday: December 6th  - at  1:00PM
Sponsored by: Recreation Committee
Come on down to Station Park, where Santa and his elves will greet children and distribute goodies. In addition to having your picture taken with Santa, there will be entertainment, game booths, and a display of “Emergency Vehicles” for all to enjoy and learn about while you are waiting for your special visit with Santa.

SANTA’S ORNAMENT WORKSHOP
Santa’s elves will be busy at work showing you how to make a variety of holiday ornaments.
This is a family event, children must be accompanied by an adult.

LETTERS TO SANTA
Beginning December 1, Sparta youngsters can mail letters to 65 Main Street or drop them off in a special mailbox
in the Recreation Office. Time permitting Santa will write back.
 
TELEPHONE CALLS FROM SANTA
“Calls from Santa” registration forms can be picked up at the Recreation Office beginning December 1st. Children 6 and under will receive their calls from Santa during the week of December 14th.
